About the Team
We row boats
Binghamton Rowing is a student run rowing team at Binghamton University. Even though the team is technically a club team, the team works just as hard as varsity programs. The members waking up at five o’clock in the morning six days a week to practice at our boathouse that is located in Owego, NY display this diligence. Not only does waking up that early allow the team to get adequate practice time but it also builds the sense of camaraderie that is built between teammates. The team is made up of a men’s and women’s program, with varsity and novice squads for each. Our experienced and dedicated volunteer coaches guide our team. Not only do our rowers succeed on the water, but they also succeed in the classroom and on campus. Our rowers are made up of numerous Dean’s list recipients, residential hall assistants, teaching assistants, student conduct members, tour guides, and a plentiful of other leadership positions. The commitment that our rowers show to school and their other extracurricular activities has helped to cement Binghamton Rowing’s place as one of the top clubs at the university.
